They can care less about the photographer but the actual person perhaps.

You know, just because a cosplay looks awesome does not make it upload worthy.
There are great cosplays out there that I would love to upload here, but I don't since this is not a cosplay website.

I think he posted it so anyone else who might happen to read this will know where to upload cosplay pictures such as the one above.

@RiderFan: Danbooru does allow cosplay pictures to be posted, just that it isn't our main focus and probably shouldn't be done in large quantities. You can find such pictures by searching photo cosplay.

With regards to the link, I was posting it for the reasons Kiph pointed out, as well as just for those who are interested in cosplay images.
