I’ve made another custom magic card for one of my decks. This time it’s Gisa the Hellraiser for my mono black crime deck.

As always with these custom cards I was trying to emulate a specific style as a little drawing exercise and fun experiment. For her I was specifically trying to Ape the Zenless Zone Zero style of character concept art as I think all the art in that game is pretty slick and stylish. I think the end results are still pretty decent, but I also feel like this was maybe less successful than my other attempts at style mimicry with these cards. Like I think she looks good, but doesn’t really scream ZZZ to me. I guess that just means I’ll have to go harder on the next card I make.
