sorry for being off-topic, but i've got a question for translators, 思ったままのことを言っただけじゃないのよっ doesn't mean "i didn't only say what i was thinking!" or something? I get the current translation as it stands as it fits the context, but I'd be grateful if someone can explain it to me.

I'm pretty confused about the 言っただけじゃない part. Thanks again. :)

The negative ending じゃない is often used as a positive emphatic, along the lines of, "Well, that's all I was doing, wasn't it!?"

Granted, it can be tricky to determine whether it's meant to be a positive emphatic or just a regular negative verb, as context isn't always sufficiently available.

Compounding that problem is that sometimes the interrogative particle か will be used as an emphatic too, so a sentence can end in じゃないか and still be a positive statement rather than a negative question.

Would you like an aspirin now?

Being an Asian made this very easy to understand with that jyanaika example.
