    Added the m1911 tag, as the pistols look like them, but they appear to have double-action triggers like the Seecamp conversion/variant.

    Heh, nice find. I probably would have just chalked it up to the artist not knowing any better.

    On the contrary, for the most part there's evidence of painstaking care when it comes to the firearms in this series.

    They're canonically referred to as Colt Governments (http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/aria/chara/item.html#i2), so yeah, M1911.

    Not enough detail to tell if they're the A1 variant or not, though post #887157 looks like it has the cutouts in the frame behind the trigger that are characteristic of the A1.
