Lakshmi is drawn by Takeuchi. Obviously she's gonna have a rough time when she competes for anniversary CEs and swimsuits with the literal faces of the franchise and some of the top most popular waifus of the game (aka Jeanne Alter and Morgan). It's not that she's disliked. It's that everyone else plays in a wholly other league.

Favoritism, that's what you're meaning from what I understood. You have a fair point but she's always just a minor cameo that shows in the background in some events without even a dialogue; I know that I'm certainly a bit biased on this topic since I'm probably the only Lakshmibai fan out there who places her above everything and maxed her out completely but still...even in the fandom she's considered just as a "cute/hot brownie" most of the times IF she's mentioned. Even when she's somewhere it's mostly out of pity mate..
