You know...I was thinking that Hikari would be Winter since she is the only one that does prepare for winter with winter clothes...among other things.

I expect Leaf to be in Fall...since leaves does fall...get it? It's a season of leaves...right?

Haruka would be Spring since Touko has clothes that look like they represent Summer wear...making her Summer.

That's just my opinion though. The artist must've had a good reason on the character's representation on the seasons.

Anyone have their opinions?

Dawn - Winter, May - Summer, Leaf - fall, Touko - spring.

Hm, they all seem to be a season past the one they're seemingly best suited for. Maybe May's puzzled look reflects this shift.
