    An expendable commercial space debris removal spacecraft in low Earth orbit. Using a multi-kilometer wide Whipple shield made from aluminized Nextel fabric, this craft intentionally impacts space debris in order to vaporize or decelerate hazardous material to clear a given orbit.

    I feel like a whipple shield made of nextel is just going to create more debris or be ineffective considering that even paint chips can cause impact craters the look like bullet holes.

    So maybe for large or slow objects?

    Regardless of the science of it, I like the art.
