Fun fact: The Striped Beakfish (Ishidai, you can see where our girl gets the name) is a familiar and much loved Japanese summer delicacy, a reader was quick to notice when they see her in the manga, even sent a letter to the SBS corner to ask for Oda’s confirmation. The fish is often served as sashimi, or sushi. Noooo, our girl!
