昔から整理したかったマチちゃんの設定。オポッサム娘だから、オポッサム(Opossum)の生態に由来するものが多い。YouTubeなどでオポッサムの動画を探すと、死体ネズミという不気味な異名とは違い、驚くほど可愛い一面がたくさん見つかる。これから時間ができたらマチちゃんを使って短いエピソードを描いてみたいな。（ちなみにオポッサムはネズミ（齧歯類 Rodent）じゃなくて有袋類 Marsupialia）
