My main goal with this commission was just to achieve an image that was more vivid than my other commissions. Some of my other commissions were bold, but the colors were still muted. I tried my hardest not to do the same with this piece. I think it came out really well. Also, I was trying to avoid using the pen tool so much on the lineart this time. I think not using it so much helped out a lot with making the pearls not look as fake as they would have looked with the pen tool. THe natural lineweight and imperfection make it look much more "real" to me. :3

Other things I would like to point out about this piece is that this is the first time I took liberties with customizing an item more to the person's taste. In this case, Janey's tiara. I usually make tiaras look like your semi-standard solid crown, but in this case, I was really inspired by one of her own projects that I took that into account for drawing her tiara. I added the chains via inspiration from Arwen's crown at the end of Return of the King. It was a lovely piece of jewelry, and I hope I did it justice in this commission.

(Most likely more as I'm cutting out time due to the fact that I chat waaaaay too much while I work, lol.)
