With what happened to Geoglyph in the QE Stakes (Aus) followed shortly by the utter tragedy that struck Liberty Island in the QEII Cup (HK) just 2 weeks later... Sunday Racing is starting to appear as an actual villainous organization now. Or at least a black company.

Ehh.... As much as I have my misgivings about both horses' rotation myself, I'm not sure if it's 100% on them, let alone preventable... Especially for the latter as with how Sha Tin's vets are far more stringent about the conditions compared to their JRA counterparts (just ask Salios and Shahryar). Also, reading the post-race report on the HKJC's official website seems to point towards the incident having no warnings or discernible causes (at least from Kawada's POV).
