Mallika - The Wreath Seller -

Her name is Mallika (meaning Jasmine). She is a wreath seller.
She makes wreaths with fresh jasmines and roses from her garden every morning and sell them to people who come to pray at a temple.

"Good day, mister. Would you like a pretty wreath to pay homage to the Buddha?"

this was my entry for wacom's anime girl contest Unfortunately, i didn't win.
But i wasn't surprised Sweating a little...

This picture shows parts of a wat, a buddhist monastery temple typical for Thailand, Cambodia or Laos. I researched a bit and added tags for the visible buldings save the huge torii-like entrance, dunno how that is called.

I hope that's not regarded as overkill.

That huge torii-like structure? It's Bangkok's Giant Swing . Sounds a bit lolwut, I know, but it's actually a holy Brahmin religious structure. The Giant Swing is used once a year for the Brahmin New Year and is a re-enactment from a Hindu epic about Shiva and the Naga serpent.
