There is an old rumor about red army training dogs to suicide-bomb German tanks and supposedly as they were trained on soviet tanks when the time came they blew up soviet ones. That makes that picture funny for me.

Heard of that, it was mostly due to the fuel the tanks used, they trained them to smell gasoline (Russian Tanks), and the Germans used Diesel... you can see where this can all go so wrong.

Other way 'round. The Soviets used diesel and the Germans used Gasoline.
