Flip Side could have been so much more. A lot of wasted opportunities to expand on the characters for the sake of continuous shock humor.

This comment on YouTube definitely sums up my thoughts about the third game well.

i think its because the previous 2 games had a balance of edgy humour and social commentary, while this game just goes full out on edginess, shock value and torture. i think half of the scenes in this game were genuinely funny and makes good social commentary, while the other half is just.. unnecessary shock value content that even the other 2 games didn't go crazy with. it makes it lose a lot of the impactful effect the previous 2 games had imo
a lot of the writing in this game felt out of left field and unpolished. all the endings in the re-up were polished and complete.
the flipside just has.. something huge missing to it
