I always wondered if okuu is a tengu

...She's a crow. Well, not so much a crow as she did eat one apparently.

She's a demonic raven, but she ate a divine crow for her powers.

I've always considered "Tengu" as a culture more than a Race. Like how Momiji is within the "Tengu" culture but shes not a crow, a wolf.

Well that's the funniest thing considering tengu apparently means "heavenly dog". Momiji's white wolf design may have been adapted from the chinese view of the tengu (the Tiangou), while Aya's is the Japanese view of the tengu. Here's the info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tengu
