I have no idea what's going on here, but might it be possible that one of those girls is Disappearance Haruhi? It's been mentioned in Rokudena's comics that Kyonko has the suspicion that she's just an offshoot of Haruhi rather than a genderflipped Kyon.
The girl with the blue scarf is the 'formerly male Kyon' from the 'Tea of Saggitarius' series while the girl with the pink is scarf is called 'Kyonko' and is apparently the 'always been a girl' version of Kyon.
Incidentally, the pool may be wrong; this is isn't from the 'Kyon(♀) x Kyonko' book that was out out a while back. This is from the newer 'John x Kyon(♀) x Kyonko' book, with 'John' being the dimensionally displaced male Kyon who has 'come out' as 'John Smith' in the Tea of Saggitarius series.

Um, so how is the publishing order of the books and how many are there? I am seriously confused by this doujin series...I wish some scan group would pick it all up and clarify it once and for all.
