Why is there so much PKV futa art? Am I missing something?
A combination of factors apparently:
The announcement of Project KV split the Korean Blue Archive community with a group supporting the new project and another group essentially considering them filthy traitors. Discussions started on how Project KV essentially is the polar opposite of BA. (Blue vs Red, Guns vs Swords, Modern/Futuristic vs Feudal, Christian vs Buddhism, Spring vs Autumn, and several more mentioned elsewhere) This lead to the logical hypothesis of "If all characters in BA are girls, then all characters in KV must be boys."
The discussion that started all this is unknown, but a particular Twitter conversation is:
And subsequently made its way to the Japanese Twitter space:
Project KV has had a terrible reputation in Korea, with people saying "Wouldn't it be more popular to have futanari penis fighting content instead of swords?" The majority of people are now saying that they are developing futanari penis fighting content, and for the first time, it seems to be a positive factor in Korea.
This then resulted in artists jumping onto this trend and possibly even fanning the flames on accident (or maybe even on purpose), with post #8102895 in particular featuring the always favorite genre of netorare.
wait, so the futanari drawings are supposed to be bad in particular or something? memes like that come and go all the time and whatever the context it, if you make an all girl game with swords then what else do you expect? also, "traitors", I'd rather kill myself than work with nexon, also for example arknights was created by people who quit working on girls frontline
