It was a rhetorical question. I'm fairy sure she's considered Greek. Her story revolves around Greek mythology, and she was brought to life by the Greek gods themselves. There's not a bit of American in her. It's true that she's considered to be loyal to America, but she's loyal to all humans alike. She's just mostly in America because that's where most of the Superheroes live.

As of 2011, Jim Lee has given her a new costume, making her look less patriotic.
