I know about the Germans capturing Sherman tanks, but is there any real case of Japanese catching RAF airplanes?

This is not a DeHavilland Mosquito. The Mosquito has inline engines, this one has radial ones. Big difference. The air intake on the top of the engines remind me of the engines on the Mitsubishi A6M Zero. Also, it appears to be equipped with two machine cannons behind the cockpit, aimed forwards-upwards, like the German Schrägemuzik guns on the Junkers 88 and Heinkel 217 Uhu.

I'd say it's a Japanese-designed plane, but I am no expert on these and can't identify it positively right now.

That looks like it, it looked to small to be a bomber. Thanks Arael

This is a pun. "月光 (Gekkou)" means "moonlight."
