I thought Seth is a dog? (That tail is definitely not a cat one)
He's supposed to be a Lynx. Which is a cat feline family. I do agree about the tail though. But to be fair, it wouldn't be the first anime i've seen where the creators just add in "animal parts" to kemonomimi characters without knowing body parts.
I know i used to see a lot of cat girls and dog girls back in the 90s anime with all sorts of tail types or ear types that don't fit but are still called cat or dog within the lore of the anime.
