Actually the light ssaber is a in-game hidden item no cheats required. tough i believe that the american version had a Medieval "iron ball on a stick" in its place

Now the horn rubbing "might" be a reverence to FLCL but i think it has more to do with yordas alienated curiousity. And well a girl is rubbing Ico's(?) horn so a blush is justified

The "lightsabre" is in the English version, but it's only available on the second play through.
When you hold Yorda's hand the blade gets bigger (I've always wondered if there wasn't some intended innuendo there).

This proves it isn't a Star Wars lightsaber and is instead a Space Balls lightsaber.
