Context: Venezuela's election was held and an authoritarian politician took power despite another candidate having more votes, leading to many Venezuelans protesting and calling for freedom. This article explains better for the most part.
Added context: Since the morning of Monday 29th, there have been nationwide protests, due to the obvious and clear electoral fraud occurred last Sunday 28th, in the 3 days that have passed, the regime supported by Nicolas Maduro still refuses to resign, there have been casualties, both civilians and police, and the military has the order to kill the protesters because they are "criminals" the military is also kidnapping protesters to torture them.
Also, those who have defended the protesters, among them young people under the age of 16 and women, have been the gangs and organized crime groups of the capital, that's how bad things are. (Source: I'm venezuelan).
