Zero get all the praise while X gets diddly squat. I mean come on! He was in the last game FFS! Why does he get a third appearence in a versus game? What about X or Sigma? Those two would be a much better choice or at least should be in the game alongside Zero.
But i gotta agree with you about X (or the X series in general) needs some love. I mean why does Capcom decide to go back to the 2D 8-bit classic series all these times with Rockman 9 and 10 when the X series (2D era) does MUCH, much better in both graphics , story and gameplay (wall-kick and armor upgrade, 'nuff said)?

you do realize Zero is Inafune's original character and a fan favorite
as for capcom remaking classic instead of X: Megaman 9 came out in 2008 while Megaman X8 came out in 2004, BUT you must also consider that Megaman 8 came out in 1997, more than a decade due for a continuation.
also X's plot was suppose to end at X6 while classic has no plot so much like a moe-blob anime, it can be continued with little attention to story.
but then again, retro has been making its boom on the video gaming market
The X series was supposed to end at 5 actually. But capcom didnt want to end their cash cow quite yet. I'm glad they finally decided to actually end it and go with the sequal zero series.

Well, this is a solo pic of Zero From Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and every character has one. But I get how you feel, I mean, I'm a Zero fan but I hate how X is like, well... 0! to the eye of Zero's fans (not including me!). I would like that people respected more X, thanks to him we have all the Megaman series. I would like that X appeared in the game too.
