Japan and China do not have a particularly friendly history with each other. I do remember a Chinese friend telling me a myth about how Japan came to be doing: A Chinese Princess had sex with a monkey and her, along with her children, were exiled to the island of Japan.

As for politically touchy, international marriages tend to be somewhat strained at first but I don't get the feeling that he is overly patronizing to her.

    I know. :P
I'm not so sure I'd like my partner making a comic in jest about me, though, if she actually exists.

I don't know anything about this comic, but I'd imagine the wife is at least aware of it.

    Politics

The official Chinese political stance is to promote friendship: countries need allies more than enemies. The nationalist sentiment is something else.

Wtf?? I don't know where you heard that from, but I can assure you that the mainstream myth / legend is that the Japanese are children of the Chinese.

The story goes that a Chinese emperor sent a group of 500 boys and girls in search of medicine that would grant immortality. The ships never returned, and according to legends, these children landed on the Japanese islands. There are variations of the story, but the jist is relatively the same.

The reason why there is political tension between the two countries is far more complex. There are economic forces at play, not to mention Japan is very close allies with the US. Additionally, the Rape of Nanking still weighs heavily on the minds of the Chinese, and it doesn't help that the Japanese have yet to apologize as a nation.

they have apologized its just china hasn't accepted the apology yet, so far almost every prime minister since then has written a letter of apology to them as part of their political duty's, chinas government has hid this from mainland china for some reason but they have been trying to fix relations, china just wants to make it worse, like what they've been doing with tibet, korea and taiwan

    An everyday like that.
Somehow, that makes me happy, and I sleep as well.
    Squeeze
Because of my work, I often return home at midnight.
But, when she sleeps horizontally, she would unconsciously hold my hand....
    Happiness is holding hands.
Of course, Yue would be sound asleep by then.
Yue can't sleep without hugging her bolster.
Closes the door quietly because it's midnight.
