While Elise did eventually defuse with Maya, that didn't mean she was leaving just yet. Not when she could get to know Maya's kitsune girlfriend, Kodaka.
Although Kodaka reminded Elise of another fox from a magic coated land, she was far more shy and quick to fluster than Maya.
But it was her fondness for potion making that caught Elise's attention, even more so when Kodaka revealed she was working on a fusion potion.
So by the time Maya made her way back home, she was surprised to find not Kodaka or Elise, but a beautiful and alluring fusion of the two: Kolise.
