It does, and the aftermath is really clean! (note: do bring some twine and knife since you'll still need to detach the remaining intestine.) When done correctly, this method of 'dressing' will cause the esophaegal tract of the rabbit to rip off just above the stomach, and the rest of the intestine will be ejected through the anus (hence why the pressure on the stomach cavity, to lessen the anal opening). Most people trying this method for the first time made minor mistakes such as gripping too tightly on the ribcage (breaking it and causing the lungs to rip), not applying enough pressure on the stomach (ripping occurs on small intestines, soiling the meat) or putting strength in the wrong part (do not focus your strength on the neck part, it WILL tear off the head).
