Tacticool doesn't require practicality, it requires a desire for something so goddamned tactical that the sheer sight of it will cause the enemy to flee.
Or to use captured ammunitions while infiltrating behind enemy lines.
Actually the GP-25/30 is supposed to have some sort of a bouncing grenade (which, after initially coming to a rest on the ground, would be "bounced" about 1.5m into the air by a small explosive charge before the main HE warhead detonates) that has no counterpart developed for the Western 40mm. Maybe that kind of grenade is somehow useful to her.
