Artist's commentary
This is from the daily pad calendar. There are a ton of cats on the cover. Among them is "Bun-chan", who is the cat of Umino-san, which you might recognize if you read "March Comes in Like a Lion". When I first saw that cat, with it's big round face and low head, I thought "...what's that? A cat?".
