This just so reminds me of Persona 4, Ragatha's shadow has become so strong that it started to have a life of its own. And instead of normal Ragatha who tries to be supportive and defends Pomni from harm, her shadow just sees her as hers, and hers only, her shadow feeds off of Pomni cuz she sees her as someone to control, because Ragdolly gets pushed around by Jax that she feels powerless about her situation and she can't resist the urge to get to Pomni and control her in her manipulative and twisted ways just so that she can have someone to boss around. It's why her shadow will never loosen her grip on Pomni, similar to Chie from P4.
