Noted that this is a sad scene, and The death of maes was sad too. In my opinion, they didn't strike me as much as the death of Greed and Envy, or Al's Sacrifice, from the Brotherhood series

Sorry but I can't agree with that. Certainly, it was not of anything good. But well, I don't feel it's of any to the "saddest". Maybe I'm just too used to it already.
