Said SEES S-links have romance with the guys (except for Junpei who is still adorable in his link), and alot of yuri vibes with the girls of SEES. In addition to the yuri, she can have guys like Hidetoshi, Bebe, Maiko's dad and the ANTHROMORPHIC PERSONIFICATION OF DEATH fall for her.

Yeah, he knows he can save Chidori - in P3P but obviously missed the fact that he can do that in FES as well.

Way to miss the point which is that the Minatos don't care for Chidori, which is why whether or not FES!Minato mentions it is irrelevant. In the end, the one that the Minatos are pining for is Shinji which is the joke, which has been explained, which is not funny anymore.

I think you're mistaking what the joke is with what you want the joke to be.
It's really very simple. Original P3 MC is the only MaleC who makes a comment about Chidori, implying that the other two know they can save her. FemC then goes on to say that she can save Chidori AND Shinji.
Personally, I agree with the idea that they're mourning the fact they can't save Shinji, especially since P3P MC is sobbing "senpai..." right after the FeMC mentioned she could save "Aragaki-senpai."
...But let's not start another war about this -- to each their own.
