    Shinki ain't all that menacing, or scheming. She was only trying to let Demons out of her realm for tourism. It's like how Lex Luthor stole 40 cakes. It doesn't change much, yet the heroes make a big deal out of it.

    And this is different from everything else in Touhou... how, exactly?

    Remilia just wanted to be able to walk around during the daytime, Yuyuko basically went "Ooh, what does THIS button do?", Eirin wanted to protect Kaguya and Reisen from the Lunarians, Komachi was just slacking (but that wasn't even the actual problem), Kanako needed faith to stop Gensokyo from falling apart, Okuu simply went insane (she mellowed out later), and Murasa & Co. were trying to rescue the Touhou equivalent of Jesus.
