Am I the only one that is sad about the fact that she knew that she cant win against him in that state, but still fought just so she was the one killed, instead of the king?
Explanation for why I reapproved this and post #642351:
After looking at both of the animations from this artist from start to finish, and having watched the HxH episodes that inspired these pieces, I am of the opinion that these are both are well-animated, faithful homages to their respective source scenes.
While these lack any shading and are composed mainly of line textures, this is what animated gifs EasyToon look like. I do not think it is fair to fault these images for having minimal details, given the nature of being monochrome animations.
Note that each of these animations are 640x480 resolution, which is on the large end for these kinds of animations and are exceptionally rare; To point, these are the only two EasyToon animations on Danbooru that are not lowres. See: easytoon -lowres vs easytoon. As well, they are composed of several hundreds of individually drawn frames (573 total frames, and 292 for post #642351), with deliberately set frame delays ranging between 60ms to 150ms. This tells me the artist took great care in ensuring a smooth viewing experience at every frame of the animation, by carefully considering the delay between each frame on top of the details.
For hand-drawn animations, the above traits would still be an achievement even to this day. Given how these works are nearly a decade old, it should be testament to the images' quality and the of skill their creator. Therefore, I believe they have a place in the gallery.
