I laughed because it fails on 2 parts

1. the characters have been stated to be older in B&W (applies to rivals too)

2. the characters in the previous games are 11 (1 year age difference yes, but everyone always associates it with the anime)

this is a catastrophic fail but a Laugh a lot of this

Judging from the comments page, the Japanese viewers don't seem to know this; one of them stated that the game protagonists ages were unestablished...

You people are silly... Sure, they're 15 as of BW, but maybe this happened before they turned 15. None of the Isshu gym leads are featured, so maybe they haven't risen to prominence yet.
