This doujinshi is actually in Chinese, which is weird since the cover page is in Japanese...

I was looking at this and was like "Whoa, since when was Cirno's name that complicated?" and I saw the Chinese tag. I have since decided that it must be a pain to write in Chinese.

Not exactly. When transliterating proper nouns the Chinese like to use complicated, uncommon characters because combination simpler characters tend to appear like a common noun.

Anybody would find a language hard when they did not learn nor try to learn it.

And I think it's a shame for people who like Japanese stuffs for more years cannot distinguish Japanese writings with Chinese/Korean/ect at first glance.

The funny thing is my original language WAS Chinese, but over time throughout the years I just started slowly forgetting the language and the writing.
    In other words...I failed miserably.

Looks like this is a Chinese hard-translation of a Japanese original, judging by the cover and the obvious editing marks around most of the sound effects. (Kamo Nari's other stuff is just Japanese; in particular, compare pool #2155, which is a vignette from this same story.)

Does that qualify it for the hard_translated tag?
