And then recall the fact that Spellcards are meant to moderately punish, even the Hax Signs. Then go back to the comic, and see why the Hakurei Miko, (Reimu's Ancestor) is the most feared Destroyer. She doesn't even need danmaku to kill. She just simply kills them with her own bare hands, as evident in the Meira and Rika panels.
