The most underrated pair in the series. Would be nice to see Origin characters again in something official, be it a game, comic or OVA. Hell, I'll take a novel at this point (even if a novel would be both obscenely difficult to procure and even more difficult to translate...). But modern Falcom does a different kind of fanservice, so that is not happening.
It's also weird how many re-releases Origin had, and it's still seemingly one of the least represented in fan works. At least as far as I could find. Wonder why.
Yeah, it likely is, but I just don't get why? Is abscense of Adol such a dealbreaker? Are there so many people that feel Ys' prequel didn't need to happen or wasn't executed well enough? I think gameplay and story-wise it was the most engaging game in the series. Because we finally had talking protagonists with actual characters to them with conflict and motivations beyond murder-hoboingadventuring across the world, and the gameplay was the most polished and varied of the games using that engine (along with Felgana and Ark).
