Painted for this December's Character Design Challenge smiley

The theme was « Pokemon », as you may guess.

Here’s a rare sight of a litter of Pikachu about to open their eyes. And there’s even a shiny one!
They may look incredibly cute, but they are already quite dangerous, especially since they have not yet learnt how to properly control their electricity production…

I am a total Pokemon noob but that was really fun and challenging to paint, and the extensive research to find out more about this character made me want to discover more of these lovely creatures.

I am well aware the babies should have been Pichus but since the rules of the challenge state there must be only one main character / design, I stuck to the Pikachu to avoid my entry being rejected as I was not sure Pichu would count as an additional main design. Let's say they are so happy to live with their mother and siblings that they evolved at a very young age smiley
