It SEEMS the artist might be bringing Youka back to life. Sadly, I only have google translate to read what he's written on his comments, so I cannot be too sure. The sample pictures of his Comiket Manga do look as though he IS bringing her back.
Thanks to everyone who has finished the translation! Towards the end, I almost killed my eyes trying to figure out those small kanji with my limited knowledge, that's why I've been putting off the translation for a "bit" =p
Oh thank god. (But thanks to the translators first.)
What came to mind as soon as I heard Yukari's and Yuuka's conversation was Yuuka's fate to the cycle of birthing, loving and losing a new Youka for all eternity. Thankfully it didn't come to such tragedy.
I enjoyed the series way more than I ever expected. 'Course, the first parts with insanity-inducingly cute Youka was fine too.

There's food for thought. Didn't Shiki claim in PoFV that Yuuka's greatest sin was living for too long? Maybe she was supposed to have died by now with Youka becoming the new Yuuka (as old flowers wither and die and become fertilizer for new flowers)? And when that didn't happen Youka was born incomplete and destined to die off? Thankfully we got a hopeful ending though!
Just saw on pixiv that the author updated this story with two more pages.
...I believe!See ya! I'll be back again!...Dear, dear, it seems I'll be getting pesky visitors for a little while longer yet."The Stone that Calls Home the Sun"!...Well, no matter, they're welcome to come. We'll always be here to greet them....Right, Youka?Heliotrope!...Hey, Yuuka! You know what that stone's called, right?
