Mini-celebration/kiriban for our studio (www.gunshiprevolution.com, www.artstation.com/gunrev) hitting 5k on facebook! Theme was to redraw an old artwork (at least 10 years back).... so, I dug out an old image from my deviantart, which I felt was also appropriate for the season.

I tried to keep all the elements of the original intact.... namely the lighting and the general composition (which, of course, I had to tweak a bit to fit my current aesthetics).

Also, side note, just to get myself in the right mood, I rewatched Hellsing Ultimate.... and holy jeez did I forget how dark it was compared to the original series... still good tho.
