Chii!

Chobits was one of the first series I read that I think really BLEW ME AWAY artistically. (Certainly not the last, though.) Like, I'd enjoyed a lot of other series, but hadn't yet spent hours and hours combing through every volume I had, trying to figure out how the artist did this or that - how did they put so much detail into the costumes, and not forget however many bows it had from panel to panel? How did they make the hair flow like that, lead my eye around the page? How did they make this expression? That gesture? Line weight! Cute designs! The detail, because it deserves another mention!
