I've always hated GameFreak (and Nintendo) tyranny. I'm glad this game exists and if any of them dare to sue them over this I'm gonna call them unoriginal creature design patent trolls (right next to the "Edge" guy) too.

I'm no lawyer but from what little I've seen I think the mon designs are just barely different enough that they'd have a hard time making a case.

Actually yea, super different in story telling and age group target audience. Digimon actually has more fanservice and sexualized characters and general darker themes than Pokemon, there is heavy censorship when it usually comes to Digimon unless you watch the uncut versions. Youkai watch is VERY japanese culture to the point that you most localizers just give up trying to localize most of the dialogue and just go for direct translations. Pokemon localizers always be removing any bit of japanese dialogue or culture in favor of whatever country they are translating for.

I’ve been a Pokemon player since Pokemon Silver on the Gameboy, and I’m proud to say that Palworld treats us better than Gamefreak does.

10k $ budget, and they make an openworld MUCH richer, very fun-packed with secrets and NPCs/Factions, and way bigger than Gamefreak ever did. And Gamefreak is a multibillionaire Company and look at the empty crap they make nowadays.

Like someone once said “It’s not that Palworld looks like a AAA game. It’s that Pokemon started looking like an Indie game.”

And I could not agree more. Lol
Real Pokemon fans love Palworld. ❤️ Instead of having stockholm syndrome for a multibillionaire game company that couldn’t care less.

The competition will hopefully only make Gamefreak actually try more.

Pokemon always tried to sugarcoat it, Palworld is just honest about it.

Your actions in Palworld aren’t necessarily bad either, and your Pals can be very happy. You’re only bad if you choose to be.
And that’s cause the game is more realistic and honest in that aspect than Pokemon is. (Even towards crimes against humans)

And once again as expected, Nintendo 'Langdell' did its move. The future of gaming depends on them losing to their toxic practices. Stay strong Pocketpair!
