Hear me out: After deciding to create a pirate themed Robot enforcer for his scheme, Nega took some superficial influence for Captain Whisker’s design from an old times pirate called Whitebeard, Whitebeard being the Sol “counterpart” of Sonic’s dimension’s Blackbeard (from AoStH).
