Well, from what I can understand, it seems Sakuya's allowed to stop time for a VERY brief moment, and while she does, Koakuma steps in and helps. At least, that's what I understand from the translation.

Back to Time Sign "Convenient Plot Device" I guess if this is true.
Anyway I wonder who will win in the end. You have to assume teams that cheat or have the backers cheating for them will end up losing (likely one will make it to the final).
That leave Team Scarlet 75% (ugg too predictable) and... well since Erin is out and Scarlet 200% lost, that's pretty much it.
I'll be surprised if the Komachi/Shikieiki team cheats at all and I don't expect any more than the typical low-key cheating from Marisa/Nitori. Of course, Patchy is their strategist too.

Marisa/Nitori seems like the duo to reach the finals. I mean we haven't even seen them fight yet and Marisa is full of potential on her own.
So wait, they are actually figthing Koakuma too and Yukari is helping them too? kinda ironic how people at the start of the mach claimed Orin and Yuugi were cheating because Satori was giving tactics to Orin
Don't forget Utsuho and Tenshi or the Myourens either. They will also appear in this tournament. Perhaps they will reach the end?
However, I personally hope it is Red 75% who wins the tournament. They have been a fair-and-square fighting team throughout this tournament and Reimu actually needs the money. The rest are doing it for lulz or petty revenge.
Since Suwako already got her revenge and has been a cheating she-devil throughout this tournament she's going down soon. The Underground, though cheaters, are actually the main villains of this comic, and I doubt they'll go down this round. I personally hope the final round will be Red 75% vs Underground. Tenshi and Utsuho may be an acceptable alternative for Underground.

I'm still fairly certain that Sakuya and Remilia will face off in the final round (post #612053 seemed like foreshadowing to me). I'm leaning towards Sakuya beating Remilia, and Reimu going apeshit on the vampire's ass. I'll be pleasantly surprised if I'm wrong, though.

If Shino was doing the comic I could see this happening, otherwise Sakuya is really more of a "filler team" then a real contender IMO.
Also I say Sakuya because I don't think there is any way that Orenjii could make Sukia still being in the tournament after this match make sense.

Agreed there. Yukari's entirely comitted to getting Yuugi the fuck out of her tournament ASAP, since as proven during both of her rounds Oni absolutely dominate physical contests. Not to mention Satori and the whole underground crews participation. Suika being overlooked, the judges action, Sakuya's training and the rules being bent in her favor, it's pretty much all in there to keep Underground from curb stomping their way though the tourney.
- You get Miko vs Miko (less boring then Reimu vs Marisa) who can fight about donations. - Remilia vs Suwako (Remilia who has a bone to pick over Flandre's treatment).
It could an amusing final especially if after it is done and the ring and stadium get trashed and Reimu wins, she finds out there is a repair clause in the contract. Thus she goes home broke.
This is probably the most pathetic cheating in the whole series. After all that drama and promising to fight her way through the tournament to meet her oujo-sama, she pulls of such a thing? Especially since it was with the help of the committee... Is a Koakuma going to die everytime Yuugi pulls a punch now?... This annoys the hell out of me. I don't want the commitee to have their way... Am I the only one?

It didn't help that the underground team basically walloped Ran/Chen with sickening ease. And that's a team that would be Tier 2 or so. Thus they'd have given say Yuuka/Cirno or Flandre/Meiling a LEGITIMATELY and HONESTLY hard time.
Scarlet200% said: Also occurred to me that Marisa and Reimu are in a match later already so no chance for them in the finals.
I think Red 75% might actually lose. All Marisa has to do is drop some coins and Reimu will be distracted then WHACK!
There's prize money involved, that and I'd consider Marisa to be the 2nd weakest human. (Not exactly much of a melee only style)

Who knows at this rate, since look what he did to Yuuka and Flandre's teams (Lost via Sanae Yamato)
Scarlet200% said: True could only just base it on what we have seen so far.
Anyway you just know Shikieki has to end up cheating, too funny to pass up.
I doubt that, if anything she'd get on the ref's nerves about how badly she's doing. I'm still hoping Komachi tries to do a "Marshmallow Hell" type sleeper hold.
Scarlet200% said: Well I think Orenji ended up changing Sanae more then he had originally intended and ended up being undecided who should win, hence a vote.
Honestly that is ok. I am grumpy Scarlet 200% lost but I can understand getting caught up in the characters.
Anyway losing by so fer votes was quite the accomplishment when you consider Sanae was 2nd in popularity, Flan 10th, Suwako 17th and Meiling 20th.
And even in that case, letting it be decided by fan vote was a very stupid move on Jelly's part and should've never considered in the first place. It still leaves a lingering bad taste even months after it had happened.
But that being said, we'll see how this specific match goes, since it can be sway either way due to previous stunts.
I think Yukari isn't talking about her bending the rules DURING the match as BEFORE the match. She was training Sakuya how to work inside the barrier, remember? She even abducted Yuuka to be Sakuya's sparring partner. If anybody's a contender for matching sheer physical strength with Onis and Gods, it's Yuuka. Sakuya's basically trained specifically for this match up.
Her arm...Is that the fruition from the training? If only I knew from the beginning. One LossWow! It's an airborne armlock!!Gah!But this much, I can deal with!Episode 523: Light DamageFrom the Artist's Pixiv pageShe still hasn't completed it, though.Since the short period is the only limitation. If she happened to come at me with intent to kill, there would have been no way to stop her.
