Despite its name, a bag worm is not a worm per se, but a moth that spins its cocoon in its larval life, decorating it with bits of plant material from the trees on which it feeds. Similar to the ants, the bag worm has the hornet as one of its natural predators; which is a fun coincidence, because the hornet has appeared a few times in this comic series.
