I changed the Mikan(Even if is technically different) to orange for the sake of a better english equivalent. I feel Mikan isnt something everyone on this site will automatically know unlike honorifics or something.

ROFL, well, i suppose it depends on how "Japanophile" you want the translations to be in your fansubs. And since anyone can edit notes here..... Well, i wont edit it back because I dont feel like joining an edit war.
Seriously though, on 1 hand you have a fansub group totally localize their subs taking out anything even remotely japanese. Then you have 1 take the extreme end by only romanji-nizing half the script. So its really all preference. I once read a fansubbed manga where the group actually didnt translate "Bath" and left it as "Ofuro". Personally the only thing i wish for in official translations would be the keeping of honorifics if subtitles are chosen. I mean, if you decide to hear your game/anime with japanese voices in the first place, you should at least be familier with that.
