They learned from HI3. More skins means more income but to protect that 'scarcity' you need to release less skins otherwise people gonna skip banners for some skin and that, in turn will skew the profit.

Maybe if we/the fans badger them enough they'll release it as an outfit.

Too bad they made a mistake already by pleasing a different demography as I hear most players are just abandoning the game.

We've been waiting for the archons alternate outfits as skins for quite some time already, but you can mod the game on PC though.
