積み上げられたそれは誰かの足跡。
もしくは傷跡。
後世に辿り着くものもあれば、
人知れず紙魚に食まれて傷み、
ついには没すものもある。

ある者からすれば曰くそれは宝の山。
ある者からしてみれば所詮、紙の墓。

それでも、あぁだとしても……

“忘れ去られたくない”というその健気な想いを、
どうして愛さずにいられるなどというのでしょう。

It's a collection of records someone left behind, or perhaps the scars of someone's past. Some may manage to reach the hands of subsequent generations, while others may disappear into obscurity after being chewed up by silverfish. This could be a pile of treasure, or simply a paper graveyard.

Even so...how can we not love their innocent desires longing to never be forgotten?
