This is not guro so do not go and down voting it, it is classy high res art and is just slighty bloody, if you have a problem with blood then I suggest taking a look at the actual guro we have here and comparing it. Silent Hill is an immensely bloody game where the characters are eaten at times, pics like this are hard to come by with out them actually BEING Guro, despite the fact that this is basically the only guro-esque silent hill pic i have ever seen.

I think this is the best death/ "guro" image I've seen. It's not about someone's fetish or obsession of dismembered body parts or suffering but rather depicts an actual scenario.

Not official. The artist explains it on the dA page that was previously linked as the source, but someone unhelpfully changed the source to point directly to the image file instead. PROTIP: don't do that for Deviantart posts.

Was this just some fantasy plot for the artist? I can't tell what it exactly has to do with Silent Hill specifically.

Just adding on to that, Danbooru's definition of guro is actually:
"Guro is a Japanese term derived from the English word “grotesque”. It is a genre of art dealing with themes of gore, mutilation, disfigurement, extreme violence or something that's just weird beyond comprehension(though the last one is considered an archaic definition).

Guro does NOT simply refer to violent or bloody imagery, but in fact EXTREME GRAPHIC violence. Do not use this tag for images where the blood tag would suffice."
