Trying to assure to Sensei that she'll be okay and that Sensei will be kept safe with that ever beaming grin. But sadly that grin is false. And at rope and gunpoint, there's nothing Sensei can do. This is an adult's fear. Even more so as a guardian, for that would mean that they had failed in protecting their charges.
